Being a photographer is a true privelage when you get to work with people like Alexandra and Armando. When we photograph a wedding or session, we always pray that our clients are as willing as we are to go the extra mile to capture that phenomenal out of this world moment. That's exactly what Alexandra & Armando did. There are soooooo many amazing pics from their wedding;I don't even know where to begin! I'll post their wedding pics as soon as I can so, stay tuned. But in the meantime, here's a sneak peek at a few of the pics we took between their ceremony and their reception...

Giselle and Alvaro's wedding...

Our journey into Giselle and Alvaro's story started some months ago when we first shot their engagement session. After that it was their Engagement party, Giselle's amazing bridal session and as of course their beautiful wedding. They were married at the Church of the Little Flower and had an outrageous reception at the Westin Colonnade in Coral Gables. Needless to say it was a spectacular night and boy do we have the pictures to prove it! Enjoy!

To Giselle and Alvaro: It was a true pleasure being a part of your lives the last few months and having the opportunity to share your wedding day was a blast!

Nerves of steel! Giselle is like a multitasking machine and cool, calm and collective is her middle name!

She still found time to help her mom with her dress and just about all of the bridesmaids got a little help from her too.

Photography Workshop: 08

This past Saturday we finally had the 2008 Photography Workshop at CCk(Calvary Chapel Kendall). The idea came about because we wanted to give a wide range photography class that would cater to point and shoot and SLR camera users that attended CCk. I actually got to expand it a bit further and opened it up to anyone that wanted to attend. I know what you're thinking, it's impossible to give a one day class on photography and much less on two camera types! Well I think we pulled it off! Our goal was to get people to understand some basic principles and techniques while giving them the opportunity to explore their cameras. The class was from 9am to 3pm and we covered camera features, composition, file types, and all kinds of camera settings (Aperture, Shtter speed, etc).

The feedback was good enough that I'd like to continue teaching future workshops at different levels of photography and at different locations. I love to teach so I'm psyched and ready to do it!! Don't worry I'll keep you informed as this plan develops :)

Special thanks to George Cuevas and Rudy Garrido from CCk's Media team!! George is the Communications Director and he's the one that basically made my chicken scratch outline look SWEET!!! And Rudy is the Media Director and was the one that setup all the computers and all the rest. Phenomenal job guys!! It was a pleasure working with you on this workshop!! Also thanks to my wife Myleen and Jesse Casales for the awesome pics they took of the workshop. Here are some of those pics...

Brian, Sonya and Khalil

This family was great and they're expecting a new addition very soon! It was fun taking pics of the three, well actually four of them! We actually made it a family session instead of a maternity session. Sonya was a real trooper, she hung in there very well despite her pregnancy. Great job Sonya! Also, their son Khalil was great! You can immediately tell he really loves his mom and dad 'cause you can just see it after a couple of minutes of being around them. It was a pleasure photographing your family guys! Hope you like the images...
